About the Ad Campaign
In 2014 this ad was made by the people for the people, because Victoria Park is the peoples' park. Sadly, the ad is as relevant today as it was then.
Everyone volunteered their time because saving the park is such an important matter for them, and for all the people who don't know what's at stake.
All the people in the ad use and love the park. They come from Spring Hill, Fortitude Valley, Bowen Hills and Kelvin Grove. A big thank you to all the kids and their parents for such an amazing job - especially to those kids who didn't squeeze into the 15 second window!
Behind the scenes, there was a steep learining curve and rapid skill development in web design, form writing, script writing, campaign building and film directing.
But none of that would have mattered if we didn't have the extroadinary support of James Pitman at Photo Events for actually filming and producing the final advertisement. Without James the ad would have remained a pipe-dream - sorry James, I feel compelled to give you a bit of a plug photoevents.net.au
A lot of sleepless nights went into putting this campaign together....please help us sleep better by helping protect the park for future generations.
